1. The service
PhotoBG provides a free online tool that replaces the background of a photo you upload with a white one. The service is offered as it is, without a guaranteed level of availability, and we may change or withdraw features at any time.
2. Your photos, your rights
You keep every right you already had in the photos you upload. We claim no ownership of your images and no licence to use them beyond what is technically required to generate and return your result.
3. What you may upload
You may only upload photos you own or have permission to use. You may not use the service for images that are illegal, that infringe someone else's rights, that depict minors inappropriately, or that are intended to deceive or defraud. We may refuse to process a request without explanation.
4. Fair use
The tool is free and rate-limited so it stays available to everyone. Automated scraping, bulk submission through scripts and attempts to bypass the rate limit are not permitted.
5. Results are not guaranteed
Backgrounds are generated by an AI model. Results vary with the source photo, and edges, fine detail such as hair or transparency, and colour accuracy may not be perfect. Always review an image before you publish it commercially. You are responsible for checking that a result meets the requirements of any marketplace you upload it to.
6. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, PhotoBG is not liable for lost profits, lost sales, rejected listings or any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the service. The service is provided without warranties of any kind.
7. Intellectual property
The PhotoBG name, the site design and its text belong to us. You may not copy the site or present it as your own service.
8. Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top of this page will always tell you when they last changed, and continuing to use the service after a change means you accept it.
